About me
My parents waited until I was 6 years old, before as a family, we started to travel across Canada. Every summer they'd pick a province or three and we'd explore. They figured at 6 years old I would remember the trips. They were quite wrong, I have vague recollections but I don't know if it's just because I've heard the stories so often, or if I actually remember.

As a 'grown-up' my main traveling companions have been my parents or my long time friend. Favorite haunts of mine, that I seem to return to time and again are:
Québec, PEI and Boston.

A few years back I decided I'd like to go to New York. I queried around and in the end a group of 6 had committed to going to New York - all of us co-workers and in our 20s. I did a lot of planning, and tracked finances. We drove down, spent a few days in NYC, got lost in New Jersey for a few hours, then went to Albany for a Red Hot Chili Peppers Concert. I had budgeted the trip to cost each person ~$300 at the most. It ended up coming to $255 CDN each. A proud moment for myself.
